The staff was amazingly helpful with directions. They gave excellent recommendations for local spots. I appreciated that. The location proved convenient. I found many shops and eateries nearby.
The elevator service experienced some delays. THERE was one elevator out of service. This occasionally caused longer wait times than expected.

the room I got had a window THAT COULDN'T BE OPENED. it faced the inside of the hotel. there was NO fresh air, or natural light. the ROOM got HOT at night even with the heating off. the bed was also very UNCOMFORTABLE.

The hotel is near many restaurants. It also has walkable distance to tourist attractions, like Casa Mila. The staff members were very friendly. The rooms are very clean.
Our original room did not have separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. A 10-minute shower led to a small flood. We contacted the front desk who seemed unsurprised. 'inner courtyard view' means the window faces into a lobby area. There is no view or natural light.
